The overall financial market conditions indicate that rates could possibly take a move up soon and right now the banks are having a rate competition and offering “loss leader” RATES of down to 2.99%, which for you is great but they may only be available for a short period of time.
The TERMS of the mortgages at these low rates can be fairly restrictive. The Royal Bank however is offering the rates with their usual term options.
