Introducing Delta's new weekly food waste and yard trimmings collection

program starting April 16, 2012!

The Green Can program is the weekly collection of combined food waste and yard trimmings for single-family homes. This program allows residents to place all cooked and uncooked food waste, along with food-soiled paper and yard trimmings in one can for curbside collection. The Green Can will replace Delta's existing bi-weekly (once every two weeks) Yard Trimmings program. That's right - once the Green Can program starts, yard trimmings, combined with food waste, will be picked up every week!
